Muriel Montini (France) - studied cinema at Paris VIII University. Since 2000 she has made several films that oscillate between fiction, documentary and experimental. They've been screened in different international institutions (Musée du Jeu de Paume Paris, Anthology Film Archives New York etc.) and festivals (Hamburg International Short Film Festival, FID de Marseille, Rencontres Paris–Berlin, European Media Art Festival Osnabrueck etc.). In 2014 she won two prizes at Szczecin European Film Festival. She lives in Paris where she currently works on different projects.
Tomasz Raczek (Poland) - film critic, journalist, publisher, director of the „n” Platform from film channel, author of television and radio programs. Graduated from the State Theatre Academy in Warsaw (Theatre Studies Department). Along with Zygmunt Kałużyński he created the famous review duo known for their heated arguments about films. Laureate of the “Wiktor” award and awards for achievements in the area of artistic critique. He worked for many papers and periodicals, including “Wprost,” “Rzeczpospolita,” “Polityka,” “Film,” “Teatr,” “Ekran,” “Kino,” “Cinema,” “The European,” and “The Mortal Gazette.” Creator of the Polish Playboy as well as its first editor-in-chief. Writes theatre and film reviews, literary director of the Komedia Theatre in Warsaw, the Rozrywka Theatre in Chorzów, the Danuta Baduszkowa Music Theatre in Gdynia, and the “Oko” Film Group. Raczek used to vice-director of TVP 2 and a lecturer at the Melchior Wańkowicz Warsaw Shool of Journalism. In 2002, with Marcin Szczygielski, he founded a publishing house Instytut Wydawniczy Latarnik. Author of many books such as “Kinopassana. Sztuka oglądania filmów,” “Karuzela z idolami,” “or the 5-volume film lexicon “Perły kina.”
dr Claus Löser (Germany) - born in 1962 in Karl-Marx-Stadt (now Chemnitz). Since 1980 author of texts, films, music. 1982-86 publisher of the Samizdat-Zeitschrift A Drei. 1990-95 worked in a film studio in Potsdam-Babelsberg. Since 1990: program manager in BrotfabrikKino in Berlin. Since 1992: film critic for daily “Berliner Zeitung” and “film-dienst,” to name a few. In 1996: started the ex.oriente.lux collection (Experimental Film Archive East) and published his book “Gegenbilder” (Film Subversion in the GDR). 2009: author of the documentary film “Behauptung des Raums” (together with Jakobine Motz). 2010: earned his PhD. 2011: published his book “Strategien der Verweigerung.” Since 2012 writes for “Berliner Zeitung.” 2015: documentary film “Ornament & Verbrechen” (together with Jakobine Motz). Author of many articles on film and contemporary history, mainly concerning film production in the totalitarian system. Curator of exhibitions and film festivals. Member of committees and juries. Lives in Berlin.
