Top League

Top League is the presentation of films that have been awarded at festivals all over the world – as part of this block we do not only show famous productions created recently, but also films which constitute the classics of the genre (The Best Films In The World). We begin with the primitive cinema of the 19th and 20th century, when film was believed to be an insignificant medium with no future, and continue with Polish Documentary Classics, the presentation of works by one of the most prominent multimedia artists in Poland – Józef Robakowski. This event also includes a meeting of students with the Master (Masterclass), giving them the opportunity to talk and consult their work with the artist. Another prominent character whom we wish to present in the program is Sławomir Mrożek. The film “Mrożek. Life is worth living” will have its premiere at the festival. The screening will be accompanied by an exhibition of Paweł Chyra's photographies, also focusing on the playwright.
