A young man is sitting in the woods. He is alone. He talks about fights. About how the forest carries the sound of PK machine guns. About “rolling” with gun in hand, because you can't just stand up and run without being a moving target for your enemies. About holy Mary Jane, dearest mary jane. He role-plays rolling, shooting, smoking weed. The boy is in a trance-like state, western man might say: like in a computer game. The boy is Serge, a young actor with the past of a child-soldier – one of over 117 thousand in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Somewhere in a Belgian forest Serge gives accounts, role-plays, and revives his past for the benefit of passive receivers.
