A record of experiences resulting from the decision to raise an adopted child was put in an impressionistic form of a film etude, which moves and provokes reflection. A story of love and, above all, about the consequences of its lack and the great need to satisfy it is a step towards disenchanting adoption – a topic which still remains a taboo for many people.

Award-winning director and cinematographer, author of film scripts. Graduate of the Krzysztof Kieślowski Film School at the University of Silesia and Photography School of the Association of Polish Art Photographers. He also studied singing and acting. Currently a PhD candidate at Krzysztof Kieślowski Film School and Warsaw Film School. He worked on “Measuring the World” (dir. Detlev Buck), “Once Upon a Time in November” (dir. A. Jakimowski), “Battle of Warsaw 1920” (dir. J. Hoffman), TV series and commercial projects. His experience also includes directing in the VR technology. He keeps exploring modern art, film and photography theory. He also writes music and lyrics.

Born in 1983 in Lille (France), earned his CGI diploma from Supinfocom with his graduation short “AH” in 2006. Bastien is a keen traveler, it was after he hitch hiked from the north of France to Istanbul that he had the idea of making an animated travel log. Since 2013 he is running the NGO Art Brutal which is doing workshops, exhibitions – mostly about animation – and offer every year a grant for a young animator. Bastien is also a multi artist, practicing sculpture, tattoo, lino-cut and silk-print.

Łódź Film School graduate, holds MFA degree in Film and TV Direction Department and Ph.D. at The Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław in Faculty of Graphic and Media Art. Noted for awarded documentaries such as “Diary of the announced death” and “Love me” – for revealing underestimated possibilities of the document, for penetrating in a simple and discreet way into the depth of man’s loneliness in the face of the silence of relatives.

Independent filmmaker, specializing in documentary films. Founder and president of the Kamera Association from Szczecin. Author and producer of film education projects aimed at young people and seniors. Director of many documentary films, including “Pan Ciasteczko”, “Artkadiusz” or “Mój pierwszy raz”, which were presented at many film festivals in Poland and abroad (e.g. Grand Prix for “Mój pierwszy raz” at the FICAE 2017 festival in Valencia). Director of the Senior Movie Film Festival.

Born in Poznań, studied at the Ludwik Solski State Theatre School in Krakow, Puppetry Art Department in Wrocław, where she did her MA. She debuted at Jan Kochanowski Theatre in Opole. Since 1988, she has been working at the Teatr Współczesny in Szczecin. As an actress she played a number of theatre, radio, TV, and movie roles, she also has experience in dubbing. At Teatr Współczesny she acted in dozens of spectacles. When it comes to working on stage she is also interested in the small format as a special kind of an encounter with the audience. In 2016, as part of Scena Inicjatyw Aktorskich she wrote a script based on Katarzyna Kotowska’s story, which was the basis of her monodrama. In 2020, she was granted a creative scholarship of the city of Szczecin, which resulted in the film which is her debut in this field of art.
