The long-standing cooperation of the OFFicyna Association, the organiser of SEFF, with ZFF Pomerania Film (The West Pomeranian Film Fund) has resulted in the creation of a program section that presents the newest film productions financially supported by the fund. This year at the festival we will participate in a pre-release screening of Bartosz Brzeskot's film “Ludzik – nowa jakość komizmu.”
ZFF Pomerania Film has been functioning in the Pomeranian Dukes' Castle in Szczecin since 2009, financially supporting film productions associated with the West Pomeranian Voivodeship as part of an annual competition. The most interesting projects are chosen by the Program Committee of the Fund, comprised of the representatives of the donators: Marek Osajda – West Pomerania Voivodeship, Paweł Strojek – the City of Koszalin, and Rafał Bajena – the City of Szczecin. Support is granted to full-length feature productions, as well as shorts and local debuts. In 2009-2015 as many as 59 productions received financial support through the competition.
In the decision-making process the Committee puts emphasis on the films' location and the engagement of local artists. In the competition there is a special place for debut projects by students, including those from the Academy of Art in Szczecin. The fund has had many successes. Its co-productions are noticed and held in high esteem both at Polish and international film festivals. Productions which are definitely worth mentioning are: “Lynch” by Krzysztof Łukaszewicz, “Anatomy of Evil” by Jackek Bromski, “The Word” by Anna Kazejak, “The Great Escape to the North” by Andrzej Fader, “Karbala” by Krzysztof Łukaszewicz, “Sexy laundry/Sex dla opornych” by Izabela Plucińska, “Koniec świata” by Monika Pawluczyk, and “My House Without Me” by Magdalena Szymków.
