The 55th edition of the Krakow Film Festival is held from May 31st until June 7th 2015. During the 8 days of the festival, the viewers have the chance to watch (in 4 competitions and 11 non-competing sections) over 250 films, most of which are shown in Poland for the first time. The festival is accompanied by exhibitions, concerts, the open air cinema Kino Pod Wawelem, shows, and meetings with artists. There are concerts, among others, of Wojciech Waglewski with Fisz and Emade, and Mitch & Mitch. The Dragon of Dragons award goes to Priit Pärn, eminent animated film-maker from Estonia. Each year the festival is visited by 25,000 viewers and film professionals from all over the world.
